Lothar von Faber a fost una dintre cele mai importante persoane din istoria Faber-Castell. Cu ocazia aniversarii a 200 de ani, Faber-Castell a introdus acest set cadou exclusiv in editie limitata. Setul include 12 creioane grafit Polygrades cu grade de duritate intre 5B - 5H.
A fost lansat in Paris in 1837. Aceasta editie este prezentata cat mai fidel posibil fata de varianta originala. Creionul Polygrades a fost inlocuit de seria Castell 9000 in 1905.
